Nobody is worth dying for; believing this doesn’t make you bitter. It means that you have faith in Allah (swt) and that Allah is the only one you should devote everything to. It’s good to love people, but people are just that; people, no better and no worse than you are. Save true love for Allah, and He’ll surely show you love back.
